The Group is looking to expand its successful and profitable business formula into the rest of Africa, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. We are looking for Franchise partners outside of Southern Africa.

Full assistance in setting up the Franchise will include:
- Store site selection, planning and shopfitting;
- Product planning and allocations;
- Shipping and distribution;
- Marketing;
- Legal matters;
- Point-of-sale and systems; and
- Staffing and other related issues.
In addition, initial and on going training for you and your key staff will be provided. Management support is geared to ensuring the ongoing success of the business and to the production of above average returns on your investment.
In order to be considered, you must be financially sound with access to unencumbered start-up funding for both capital equipment and merchandise.
Lusaka, Zambia, was selected as the first test Mr Price Clothing store in October 2006 and Maputo, Mozambique followed in May 2007, and both stores are exceeding expectations. We have since opened additional Mr Price (clothing) stores in Nairobi and Mombasa-Kenya, Accra-Ghana. We have also launched Mr Price Home franchise operations in Kenya, Mozambique, and Saudi Arabia. We have two franchised Sheet Street operations in Mozambique, and a Mr Price (clothing) and Mr Price Home combination store in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
We have just launched a Mr Price Clothing store and a Mr Price Home store in Mauritius (end October 2008). These stores have surpassed expectations in their first few days of trade, and we now have a total of 16 franchise stores.
The franchise stores are all performing extremely well and we are looking forward to opening several additional stores in new markets in the next year.
