Great communication and organisation is what is required whilst you provide administrative support to the buyer, dealing with correspondence and following up with suppliers regarding samples and strike-offs. Accurate record keeping, tagging samples, maintaining a neat showroom and generally assisting where you can, will keep your day fast paced and exciting.
What does it take to succeed - ample drive, initiative and oodles of enthusiasm! Relevant tertiary education in Fashion Design / Fashion / Interior Design / Textiles or similar. Previous experience in a retail environment; knowledge of merchandise systems and computer literacy , completes your mandate.
